A recent auction win was misattributed to Rome. https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-150565
It is actually from Antioch. I recognised it straight away by the style and most importantly the portrait - I already have two other rare denarii from the issue with the same obverse die.

I think the difference between Rome and Antioch must have been a bit more subtle at this time than it would be later. It is not immediately obvious to me that this is an Antioch coin. Good catch.

Very nice capture David. Congrats on adding another great rarity to your collection.
