Hadrian Denarius Roma 117 AD Pietas standing, with a wonderful obverse in my idea

Obv. IMP CAES TRAIAN HADRIAN OPT AVG GER DAC
Bust of Hadrian, laureate, draped on left shoulder, right

Rev. PARTHIC DIVI TRAIAN AVG F P M TR P COS P P PIETAS
Pietas, veiled, standing left, raising her right hand

Hadrian with all of the titles of Trajan, voted to him by the Senate upon news of his accession, but soon to disappear from the coins, obviously because Hadrian had refused them: Optimus, Germanicus, Dacicus, Parthicus, Pater Patriae.

Nice Eric!

Great bust type. One of my favourites, facing right with slight drapery on left shoulder.
Here is a similar one on a sestertius I used to own many years ago (Platform reverse).
Also one I recently acquired.
