Title: Spanish? Crusader? Small Bronze

Hello,
I came across this recently and there is not enough legend for me to attribute myself.
For some reason it reminds me of Spanish. And the cross on the reverse reminds me of crusader.
That is about as far as i have been able to get.

It is Bronze, about 2.7 grams and has a 19.25 maximum diameter.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think - Crusader, Chios (under the Maona Society). Battista Giustiniani Campi. 1487-1488. Æ Tornese

Hi mrb,

I recognized the type immediately (as soon as I looked at it). My paternal grandparents came from the Genoa, Italy area, and I specialize in collecting Genoese coins.
