Title: A brace for Geta with legend in wreath
Post by: Lerian on July 18, 2017, 01:39:52 pm
I have now managed to get both of the variations of the reverse legend for this type.

P  SEPT  GETA  CAES  PONT
Boy’s bare-headed bust draped right.

TEMP  /  OR  .  FELI  /  CITAS

TEM   /   POR  FELI   /   CITAS

Legend in three lines within wreath.

Rome 199-204     RSC: 196      RIC: 22     BMC: 246

Nice to get not only a rare type, but the different varieties of a rare type!

Both coins appear to be from the same obverse die.
