Joe,
I retrieved Volume II from the post office on Saturday. I have not started to
work with it yet, as I have not completed my revision of my descriptions/attributions of the coins covered by Volume I (I have four more coins left to go and expect to be working with Volume II before the new year). However, I read through the text of Volume II and randomly examined the
catalog entries. My preliminary impression is that the book is as impressive in its detail and clarity as Volume I is. I look forward to the publication of Volume III and the completion of your coverage of the Árpádian dynasty!
I have noticed, by the way, that various coin dealers have already begun to reference their offerings to your
catalog numbers. The same dealers ignore completely the other recent catalogs that have been published that are of a significantly lower
quality (
Frynas and
Adamovszky). I expect that your books will supplant Huszár as the
standard.

P.S. I appreciate your willingness to answer the private questions I sent you concerning Volume I and a number of my coins that are covered by that volume. I will again revise my descriptions/attributions based on your answers. Take your time. Stkp
