Pakhomov was a well known Russian numismatist and historian, largely specializing in coinage and circulation in the regions of present-day Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Two of Pakhomov's most memorable works are Coins of Georgia and Hoards of Azerbaijan. The latter, uploaded below is out of print and extremely hard to find. It records all known coin finds to Pakhomov in the region from roughly the end of the 19th century to the mid 20th century. The work is in Russian, and published as a series of 9 booklets between 1926 and 1966.
