How To...

Ask your question about using NumisWiki below:

  • How can I add a page?

Search for a keyword that you think it would be apropriate for your page. If it's not found you will have a link to add the page for that keyword, otherwise you may want to modify the existing page.

  • How can I turn off automatic links for a specific word?

To see how they can be turned off press the [Edit] button and see this word: |Caesar|
    and compare to this: Caesar

  • How can a person change font size?

You don't usually need to change font size. To make a title or subtitle, change the text type from "Normal" to "Title" and it will be automatically centered, bolded and of a bigger size. Those title types have various sizes and alignments so you have enough options to choose from when you need to change font size. The biggest advantage of this, instead of having a "font size" button, is that the Table Of Contents (TOC) is automatically generated from those titles.

  • When editing there is no rich text editor when using Opera or Safari browser. There's only a simple textarea which displays the HTML code. Why?

Opera 8 and Safari 1.3 do not support rich text editing, but Opera 9 and Safari 2.0 they both will.
You may use a HTML editor to create/change a page, then copy-paste to that textarea. Or use any other browser, like FireFox, Netscape or IE.
